Liberty Announces Signing of Technology Transfer Agreement

Vancouver, B.C. – August 24, 2018 – Liberty Defense Holdings Inc. (“Liberty” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the signing of a Technology Transfer Agreement (TTA) with Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Laboratory (MIT LL).

The TTA enables transfer of the design knowledge through consulting and exchange of documents, specifications and software code related to the array antennas, transceiver, data acquisition, and imaging techniques for real-time radar imaging. The TTA also includes radar images for developing the machine learning subsystem for the auto detection of threats and anomalies. The agreement is a significant step for the development of the HEXWAVE product, and will assist Liberty in meeting development and commercialization milestones.

COO Aman Bhardwaj commented, “We are excited to start the technology transfer activities with MIT LL to leverage the technology development completed in MIT LL for the HEXWAVE product development. This technology provides a new critical capability on the path to protect our communities from mass casualty attacks through proactive weapon detection and threat intervention.”
